PT Subur Agro Makmur (PT SAM) is supporting Sirih Village in South Hulu Sungai Regency as it prepares to represent the regency in the HATINYA PKK Competition at the South Kalimantan provincial level.
This support demonstrates collaboration among the private sector, village government, PKK members, and the local community. The HATINYA PKK (Sustainable Home Garden Program) encourages families to use their home gardens productively, fostering greener, more organized, and economically beneficial environments.
Rusmilawati, Chairwoman of the Sirih Village PKK Mobilisation Team, expressed appreciation for PT SAM’s contribution, noting its invaluable support to PKK members and residents as they prepare for the provincial competition.
“We sincerely thank PT Subur Agro Makmur for its support and commitment to our community. This assistance has helped us meet the requirements for the HATINYA PKK competition in Sirih Village. We hope this collaboration will continue to bring positive impacts and motivate us to achieve the best possible results at the provincial level,” she said.
PT SAM provided resources and materials to support Sirih Village’s preparation for the provincial evaluation. This assistance is expected to enhance the village’s readiness and strengthen community engagement in environmental stewardship and productive home gardening.
Alhadi R, Secretary of Sirih Village, highlighted PT SAM’s involvement as a positive example of private sector contributions to community empowerment at the village level.
“We greatly appreciate this kind of support. When the village government, PKK, local communities, and the private sector work together, community empowerment programs such as HATINYA PKK become stronger, more impactful, and deliver greater benefits for residents,” he said.
PT SAM views this initiative as part of its commitment to grow alongside the communities near its operations. The company believes successful rural development requires collaboration among government, the private sector, and other stakeholders.
Through this partnership, Sirih Village is optimistic about achieving strong results in the South Kalimantan Provincial HATINYA PKK Competition. The preparation also highlights the village’s collaboration, environmental stewardship, and potential as a green, productive, and resilient community.
