PT Eka Dura Indonesia commenced construction of the Merah Putih Cooperative in Dusun 3, Kota Baru Village, Kunto Darussalam Subdistrict, on Saturday (31/01/2026). Utilising a PC 70 excavator to prepare the foundation, the company initiated a significant step to strengthen the village economy.
By supplying machinery and on-site assistance, PT Eka Dura Indonesia affirms its dedication to advancing Ring 1 villages. The company acts as both a business ally and an engaged community participant.
Foundation work marks the start of the cooperative’s development, anticipated to become a central hub of economic activity for residents of Kota Baru Village. The cooperative aspires to foster economic self-reliance and enhance community welfare.
The event was attended by the Secretary of Kota Baru Village, Mulyono, the Head of Hamlet 3, Selamat, and the Military Commander of Kota Baru Village, Kopda Cahyanto, reflecting collaboration between the company, village government, and regional stakeholders.
Dwi Setiyo Budiawan, Administrator of PT Eka Dura Indonesia, emphasised that supporting ring 1 villages is a long-term commitment by the company.
He stated, “We routinely undertake activities like this for ring 1 villages. The continued presence of PT Eka Dura Indonesia is closely linked to support from the surrounding community.”
Tora, Community Development Officer of PT Eka Dura Indonesia, highlighted the importance of building relationships founded on trust and care.

This commitment has received appreciation from various parties. The Head of Kunto Darussalam Sub-District, Dedy Sapura, S.E., M.M., expressed his gratitude for the company’s contribution via WhatsApp.
