PT Lestari Tani Teladan (LTT) is committed to regional development by investing in both economic growth and community support. Its CSR programme focuses on four main pillars: health, education, economy, and environment, all designed to create lasting benefits for residents near its operations.
Kartina, a member of PT Lestari Tani Teladan’s management, stated that all CSR programmes are implemented strategically to demonstrate the company’s commitment to growing alongside the community.
“We believe the company’s sustainability is closely linked to improving the community’s quality of life. Our CSR programme therefore focuses on four main pillars that address residents’ basic needs,” said Kartina at the Breaking Fast with Palu Journalists event on Wednesday (25/02).
Under the health pillar, the company supports integrated health service posts, conducts nutrition education sessions, and offers free health checks in its operational areas.
For education, PT LTT distributes school supplies, awards scholarships to outstanding and underprivileged students, and enhances educational facilities and infrastructure.
Meanwhile, under the economic pillar, the company held entrepreneurship training, MSME development, and farmer group assistance to encourage economic independence among residents.
In the environmental sector, the company ran tree planting programmes, community-based waste management, and ecosystem conservation education.
In addition, PT LTT was involved in post-flood management across a number of operational areas, deploying heavy equipment and repairing affected infrastructure.
‘We strive to be present in the community, especially in emergency situations. With the support of heavy equipment and infrastructure repairs, we hope that residents’ activities can recover quickly and the economy can get back on track,’ added Kartina.
Through these four CSR pillars and emergency response actions, the company affirms its role as a strategic partner in sustainable regional development.
