Construction of the Al Muhajirin Mosque in Dusun 2, Kota Baru Village, Kunto Darussalam Sub-district, Rokan Hulu Regency, has officially begun. Foundation backfilling started on Saturday (31/01/2026), with PT Eka Dura Indonesia providing a JCB heavy equipment unit.
Heavy equipment began land filling early in the morning, marking the first step in building the long-awaited mosque. The process ran smoothly and was observed by residents, demonstrating strong community support for the project.
Muklis, Chairman of the Al Muhajirin Mosque Development Committee, and Karno, RK 3 of Dusun 2, Kota Baru Village, were present to ensure the initial construction phase proceeded as planned.
Karno expressed appreciation to PT Eka Dura Indonesia for its support of the mosque’s construction.
“We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to PT Eka Dura Indonesia for the assistance and attention provided. We hope this support will continue until the mosque is fully completed and can be utilised by the community,” he stated.
Dwi Setiyo Budiawan, Administrator of PT Eka Dura Indonesia, stated that the Company’s involvement in social and religious initiatives reflects its ongoing commitment to communities near its operations.
