Jakarta (ANTARA) – PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk (AALI) is committed to strengthening partnerships with palm oil farming communities to support supply chain sustainability and promote sustainable farming practices.
Chief Operating Officer Arief Catur Irawan stated that strong partnerships between the company and palm oil farming communities are essential to unlocking the potential of this strategic commodity and delivering broad benefits.
He noted that cooperation with partner farmers has played an increasingly important role, resulting in smoother delivery of fresh fruit bunches (FFB) due to strong collaboration.
To support these partnerships, he added, the company continues to develop SISKA (Partnership Information System), which allows partners to manage FFB delivery schedules and services more effectively and efficiently.
The company is also expanding the use of Mill Grader, a technology-based quality control system that ensures more objective and consistent grading results.
He stated that this technology demonstrates the company’s commitment to building partnerships based on fairness and transparency.
Arief also highlighted the 2026 Partnership Gathering in Yogyakarta, held from 12 to 15 January 2026, as an initiative to strengthen partnerships.
The event, themed ‘Strengthening Partnerships for Sustainable Business,’ brought together partners from regions including Aceh, Riau, Jambi, Central Kalimantan, South Kalimantan, East Kalimantan, West Sulawesi, and Central Sulawesi.
Chief Commercial Officer Veronica Lusi Herdiyanti emphasized that strong partnerships require integrity, mutual commitment, and a focus on work safety.
“The sustainability of the palm oil industry can only be achieved through equal collaboration between companies and partners. By prioritising transparency, technological innovation, and continuous support, we are optimistic that this partnership will continue to grow and become stronger,” she said.
