PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk (Astra Agro), through its subsidiary PT Subur Agro Makmur (SAM), has reaffirmed its commitment to educational development by awarding Achievement Scholarships to 100 outstanding students from primary and secondary schools in the company’s Ring 1 area.
This scholarship program demonstrates Astra Agro’s commitment to prioritizing education as a foundation for future development and to fostering competitive, high-character human resources.
The South Hulu Sungai Regency Education and Culture Office, represented by Head of Primary and Secondary Education Samlani, expressed pride and gratitude for PT SAM’s support of education.
‘This scholarship programme is a great motivation for students to continue studying, achieving, and contributing to society in the future. We hope that programmes like this can continue and have an even wider impact,’ he said.
Administrator Andi H.E. Jaya stated that this scholarship program is part of Astra Agro’s four CSR pillars: Astra Cerdas, Astra Sehat, Astra Hijau, and Astra Kreatif.
‘The Achievement Scholarships that we are distributing today are part of the Astra Cerdas pillar, which focuses on strengthening the quality of education. This is a form of appreciation and motivation for outstanding students to continue developing their best potential,’ he said.
