As part of its commitment in creating social and environmental value, PT Gunung Sejahtera Putri Pesona (GSPP), a subsidiary of PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk (Astra Agro), has implemented the Astra Hijau Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program in Amin Jaya Village.
The program included donating trash bins to the Amin Jaya Village Government. Azizul Husni Reza, Administrator of PT GSPP, stated that the program reflects Astra Agro’s ongoing commitment, implemented across all business units, to grow alongside the surrounding community.
“The Astra Hijau CSR program demonstrates our commitment to contributing positively to the environment and society. By donating these trash bins, we hope to encourage better waste management practices, resulting in a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable environment,” said Reza.
Furthermore, he emphasized that the presence of companies within society must provide long-term benefits, not only from an economic perspective, but also socially and environmentally.
Sri Wahyuni, Head of Amin Jaya Village, expressed appreciation for PT GSPP’s support through the Astra Hijau CSR Program.
“We would like to thank PT GSPP for donating trash bins to Amin Jaya Village. This assistance is very beneficial, and we will use it optimally to support the cleanliness, comfort, and environmental quality of the village,” she said.
The aid was handed over in Amin Jaya Village and received by the Village Head, accompanied by the Village Secretary and other officials. This Astra Hijau CSR program is part of the company’s ongoing initiative to promote a clean, healthy, and organized village environment, while raising public awareness about responsible waste management.
By implementing the Astra Hijau CSR Program, PT GSPP affirms its role as part of Astra Agro and its commitment to sustainable corporate social responsibility.
