In the morning, the courtyard of the South Tabir (Tabir Selatan) District health facility was filled with children and their parents, all seeking better health and a brighter future. This caring spirit was demonstrated through social initiatives organized by PT Sari Aditya Loka (SAL) during December 2025.
As part of its Health CSR Program, PT SAL organized mass circumcisions and blood donation drives for communities near its operations. These activities foster collaboration and trust between the company and local residents.
The program began with a mass circumcision event on Saturday (12/13), held in partnership with the Tabir Selatan District Health Center. Thirty children from Muara Delang, Gading Jaya, Sinar Gading, Sungai Sahut, Rawa Jaya, Bunga Tanjung, and Bunga Antoi participated enthusiastically.
The event was attended by the Head of Tabir Selatan District, representatives from the Tabir Selatan Police Department, village heads, and management from PT SAL. Their presence highlights the strong partnership among the company, government, and police in addressing community healthcare needs.
“We appreciate the initiatives carried out by PT SAL. Health programs like this are very helpful for the community and reflect a good relationship between the company and the surrounding environment,” said South Tabir Police Chief, Fatkhurrahman, expressing his appreciation for the social initiatives implemented by PT SAL.
The initiative continued two days later, on Monday (15/12), when PT Sari Aditya Loka once again organized a blood donation drive involving employees and their family members. Conducted in collaboration with the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) of Muara Bungo, this activity aimed to support the availability of blood supplies for the community of Muara Bungo and its surrounding areas.
The blood donation drive was conducted efficiently and with strong participation. Support from the South Tabir Police Station and other agencies ensured the event ran smoothly. Donor engagement reflects PT SAL’s ongoing commitment to a culture of care and community support.
PT SAL administrator Riyan Rizaldi Kurniawan emphasized that these social initiatives demonstrate the company’s commitment to a sustainable Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program.
“Through the Astra Sehat Program, PT SAL strives to bring tangible benefits to the communities surrounding the company while maintaining harmonious and sustainable relationships,” he explained.
For the people of South Tabir, these activities represent more than temporary health services. They symbolize the company’s ongoing commitment to listening, caring, and working together.
