PT Pasangkayu, a subsidiary of the PT Astra Agro Lestari (AAL) Group, recently distributed achievement scholarships to six outstanding students from Pasangkayu Regency. The scholarship handover took place at the Ako Village Office in Pasangkayu District, in the presence of village officials and the company’s CSR team.
The six scholarship recipients come from various universities in Central Sulawesi, including Tadulako University, STIFA Palu, and IAIN. The recipients are:
- Aldayanti (Criminal Law)
- Siti Rahmadani (Pharmacy)
- Nur Alia (Pharmacy)
- Kadir (Islamic Religious Education)
- Rosmina Rahim (Agricultural Agribusiness)
- Irmayanti (Physical Education, Health, and Recreation), who is also a successful boxing athlete at the provincial level.
After receiving the scholarship, Irmayanti said, “This assistance not only eases the burden of educational costs but also motivates me to keep fighting, both on campus and in the boxing ring.”
The village head of Ako, Agling, expressed his gratitude, noting that the company’s support provides a significant boost for students to continue their education without the strains of financial issues.
Juanda Syah Putra, the Chief Development Officer of PT Pasangkayu, emphasized that the scholarship program reflects the company’s commitment to supporting education. “We believe the greatest investment is in human resources. With this scholarship, students can focus on pursuing their dreams,” he stated.
Kartina, the CSR Assistant at PT Pasangkayu, echoed this sentiment, highlighting that education is a long-term investment. “This scholarship is not just financial aid; it serves as a bridge to realizing dreams,” she added.
The scholarship handover event concluded with a group photo session, symbolizing the collaboration between the company and the community in fostering a competitive generation.
