Active sharing, contribution, and care make PT Sari Aditya Loka (PT SAL) a commendable example of a healthy company. This is particularly evident during the holy month of Ramadan, when PT SAL demonstrates its commitment by providing assistance to orphans in the surrounding villages.
This palm oil plantation company, operating in Merangin Regency, shared its support during Ramadan 1446 Hijri and also celebrated Eid al-Fitr.
The donation distribution event was attended by Antin Kristian Sulistyawati, the Head of the Tabir Selatan District, as PT SAL provided aid to orphans in nearby villages.
The villages that received assistance for orphans include Muara Delang, Sungai Sahut, Sinar Gading, and Gading Jaya in the Tabir Selatan District.
Notably, four village heads were present during the aid handover for the orphans, along with members of the South Tabir Police. “This year, PT SAL has provided assistance to 36 orphans, and our target for next year is to assist 100 orphans,” said Sudono, Community Development Area Manager for the Jambi Region.
In addition to helping orphans, the PT SAL group, part of Astra Agro Lestari, is also actively distributing educational aid, supporting stunting prevention initiatives, developing MSMEs, and providing incentives for teachers.
Working alongside the Anak Dalam Tribe, PT SAL offers assistance and guidance to several SAD groups in the Merangin region.
Moreover, PT SAL is committed to repairing and maintaining community roads in the area. Access to six villages—Muara Delang, Rawa Jaya, Gading Jaya, Mentawak, Bungo Tanjung, and Tanah Garo—is routinely and sustainably maintained.
