In addition to the 27 companies chosen as finalists in the E-Company Award 2009, PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk won a special award as "The Best Business Innovation & Business Performance in Agro Industry". Jury E-Company Award 2009 positively assessing the performance of AAL from the application of Plantation Management System (PMS), Geography Information and Management System (GIMS), as well as Enterpise Resource Planning (ERP). This application is a collaboration between the Geography Information System based on satellite imagery with the concept of performance appraisal, Balanced Scorecard (BSC) that is processed in the PMS.
