During the year of 2010, the trend of CPO price in international market was increasing from around USD 790/ton in the beginning of the year reaching its peak of more than USD 1,200/ton at the end.

This positive CPO price trend has allowed the Company to record an average CPO selling price in 2010 of Rp 7,027/kg, an increase of 12.6% compared to average CPO selling price of Rp 6,242/kg in 2009.

The Company’s CPO total sales volume in 2010 reached 1,111.52 thousand tons, an increase of 5.2% compared to the sales volume in 2009 of 1,056.24 thousand tons, of which 92.1% were absorbed by the domestic market while the remaining was exported.

In 2010, the total volume of kernel sold stood at 147.59 thousand tons, down 2.5% compared to 2009. The average sales price of kernel achieved by the Company last year was Rp 4,070/kg, up 57.4% compared to the average sales price of  Rp 2,586/kg in 2009.

The average sales price of palm kernel oil (PKO) in 2010 was Rp 9,223/kg, increasing 48.6% compared to Rp 6,204/kg in 2009. Meanwhile, the total volume of PKO sold over the year was 33.11 thousand tons, increasing 9.9% compared to 30.12 thousand tons sold in 2009.
