PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk and all of its subsidiaries (“AAL Group”) realize the importance of implementing the good corporate governance, as a system to direct and control companies, in order to enable them to grow profitably and sustainably. The system rules the relationships between shareholders, managers, employees, creditors, the government, and all stakeholders in their daily tasks of fulfilling their rights and responsibilities to the Company. It is implemented on the basis of transparency, responsibility, accountability, equality, fairness, and compliance to the best practices standards.

The principles of the good corporate governance are contained in the Company’s Business Ethics, which function as guidelines for Commissioners, Directors, and all employees in fulfilling their rights and responsibilities. The Business Ethics is designed in line with the Business and Work Ethics Guidelines, which is designed and applied for the whole Astra Group.
